Inner Strength

Teen Empowerment Workshop

June 26, 2018
9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pendle Hill Retreat Center
(near Media)

Congratulations on completing your initial Inner Strength mindfulness and systems thinking training!

I hope that you have already been experiencing the relief and the insight from the perspectives and techniques you learned.

This June 26th, you are invited to be part of the very first Inner Strength Teen Empowerment Workshop. You will join 30 other students from several high schools throughout the city for a special day of fun and practice on the beautiful grounds of the Pendle Hill Retreat Center near Media.

During the school year, the Inner Strength teen program taught you the basics of an approach that gives you both inner strength and outer stability.

You learned to practice:

    • mindful awareness
    • self-reflection
    • stress-reduction
    • compassionate action
    • systems thinking

What would happen if you were able to spend a whole day with your peers exploring how these tools work and how to apply them to issues that are most important to you?

Join me, Amy Edelstein the founder of ISF, several of our best instructors and facilitators on June 26 and find out!

Thirty juniors and seniors who have all completed the Inner Strength Teen Program are invited to the grounds of historic Pendle Hill for a full day immersion of mindfulness practice, cultural applications, and creative expressions.

You will be following in illustrious footsteps by contemplating and creating on campus. Greats like philosopher Jean Paul Sarte lectured there!

There will be plenty of time for outdoor games and fun. You will be provided with a hearty vegetarian lunch and two refreshment periods during the day.

I can’t wait to have the whole day together. There is so much to discover! Please register soon as I expect places will fill up soon.

Warmly,

Amy Edelstein
