Inner Strength

Teen Empowerment Workshop

June 26, 2018
9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pendle Hill Retreat Center
(near Media)

You are invited to be part of the very first Inner Strength Teen Empowerment Workshop.

You will join students from several high schools throughout the city for a special day of fun, mindful awareness, perspective changes the beautiful grounds of the Pendle Hill Retreat Center near Media. It is a rare opportunity to be in a space where you can explore who you are, how you relate, how you can support the best parts of yourself, connect better with others, and make sense of a world that is so often confusing.

In the Inner Strength Program you have already learned ways to develop:

    • mindful awareness
    • self-reflection
    • stress-reduction
    • compassionate action
    • developmental/systems thinking

What would happen if you were able to spend a whole day with your peers exploring how these tools work and how to apply them to issues that are most important to you?

Join me, Amy Edelstein the founder of ISF, several of our best instructors and facilitators on June 26 and find out!

Juniors and seniors who have all completed the Inner Strength Teen Program are invited to the grounds of historic Pendle Hill for a full day immersion of mindfulness practice, cultural applications, and creative expressions.

You will be following in illustrious footsteps by contemplating and creating on campus. Greats like philosopher Jean Paul Sarte lectured there!

There will be plenty of time for outdoor games and fun. You will be provided with a hearty vegetarian lunch and two refreshment periods during the day. (Their home-baked treats are pretty awesome!)

I can’t wait to have the whole day together. There is so much to discover! Sign up today, there is limited space.
